Manufacturing of individual parts & assemblies
You produce high-precision individual parts and mechanical or electronic assemblies in small batches, exactly according to technical drawings and parts lists.

Monitoring & quality inspection
Quality comes first with our world-market products. You monitor sub-processes during manufacturing and carry out functional and quality inspections on your own initiative.

Operation & maintenance on assignment
As a true hands-on professional, you occasionally also take on the operation, maintenance and commissioning of our special machines directly at our customers' sites, both in Germany and abroad.
What you bring

A solid foundation
Successfully completed vocational training as a mechatronics technician, fitter, mechanic, electronics technician, electrician, machining specialist or automotive technician (m/f/d).
Or a strong career change
You are extremely technically skilled, have outstanding manual dexterity and want to get to grips with the world of special machinery manufacturing.
A genuine willingness to learn
You have no interest in mindless, monotonous routine; instead you want to keep developing, both personally and professionally.

How often will I be out on assignment at the customer's site?
The absolute focus of your work is in our modern production facility in Neustadt an der Orla. On-site assignments at the customer take place occasionally, for example for the final handover, acceptance or maintenance of the machines in Germany and abroad.
I have no experience in the rail sector. Can I still apply?
Yes, absolutely. What matters is your basic technical training, for example as a fitter, mechatronics technician or automotive technician, and your manual skill. We will train you in the specifics of our track-maintenance machines, weighing up to 84 tonnes, step by step and in depth.
How flexible is the holiday planning?
Very flexible. We coordinate easily among colleagues within the team. On top of that, you benefit from the fact that your holiday days increase automatically with your length of service at L&S.
