Over your 3.5-year apprenticeship, you are shaped into a sought-after specialist for the entire electrical inner workings of our rail service vehicles and special machines.
You learn the proper assembly, wiring and installation of complex electrical systems and control cabinets, as well as their regular maintenance.
You dive deep into control technology. You install software components, commission hardware and put programs (e.g. PLC controls) thoroughly to the test.
You learn to safely handle our highly innovative special machines weighing up to 84 tonnes and accompany their electronic functional testing.
A good lower or intermediate secondary-school leaving certificate – your curiosity and your interest in technology count for more than grades.
A genuine interest in electronics, physics, technology and working with hardware and software – you want to understand why current flows and systems work.
